Description
Why is the cervical spine examined with a magnetic camera?
Pain in the neck or back of the neck can affect the ability to function but also give rise to worry, anxiety and depression. Pain is a signal that something is not right. Many times the pain is due to improper load, poor working environment, stressful work positions and poor psychosocial conditions in private life and at the workplace. Regardless of where the pain is located, it should be investigated to confirm or rule out that it is related to any specific cause or serious illness. Through an MRI examination of the cervical spine, doctors can quickly and clearly map whether there is an injury or other abnormality that could be the cause of discomfort from the neck, shoulders or shoulders.
What can be detected by MR-Cervical Spine?
- Bechterew's disease
- Wear and tear in the neck
- Herniated disc
- Bony appendages on cervical vertebrae
- Calcified ligaments
- Spinal cord changes
- Entrapment of nerve roots
- Tumors of bone and soft tissue
Preparations
If you have metal splinters, a pacemaker, an insulin pump or other electronic equipment in your body, you cannot be examined with a magnetic camera. Metal that is not magnetic, on the other hand, does not pose an obstacle for magnetic camera examination.
