Description
Why is the knee examined with a magnetic camera?
Pain in the knee is usually due to an injury to a tissue in or around the knee. Sometimes, however, the pain comes from tissue further away such as the back or hip. The most common type of knee pain is runner's knee, knee osteoarthritis, meniscus damage, cruciate ligament damage and damage to the ligament. With the help of MR scanning of the knee, any changes can be mapped. The technique also provides the opportunity to study the knee during movement. It provides a very detailed picture that enables a direct diagnosis without the need for further examination.
